Just read about his death on the twitter feed on front page of the site (I'm not a twitterer myself). I'm really sad - I loved seeing his name in the credits and remembering his work on the Late Show. I think it was in the commentary on the DVDs that someone said they would request a "small" explosi...

Triple M Brisbane had a major shake-up last year when 3 of the 4 Cage members were axed without warning. (Sully was a fixture of the Brisbane comedy circuit and genuinely funny and Ian Skippen had been on Brisbane radio since radio was invented). The only one left was Marto (who I didn't mind, but m...

It's not that bad, but it does have some hit and miss guests. Some of them come across badly and others seem really nervous. I quite like it though - interesting insight into some famous Australians and where they came from - some occasional laughs.

I loved how he described the mother of his children and on/off partner as "a good friend of mine". Typical Mick.

Something that made me think of Get This the other day was a competition I entered. The question asked what should be a new Olympic sport that Australia would be good at and as I tried to think of a creative/silly answer Tony Martin's voice popped into my head and said "Upskirting!" (I did not use t...

What do Brisbane and Perth have against the show? I'll put my hand up and confess for Brisbane. I've had weddings to attend these last two Fridays and have had to watch in iview the following day. No one watches TV on TV any more, do they? Surely they should base their ratings on online viewings to...

As fantastic as it would be to have this sort of show on Monday to Friday, I really don't think a country of our size can sustain it. Only in America, sadly. Still, I can dream...
