Re: Pot Luck Classics

What about the acts that Bernard King liked? One I recall was a pensioner who played Honky Tonk piano. Bernard told her she should team up with a drummer and trumpet player, and get a recording contract with K-Tel/ Hammard (don't remember which). He also liked 'Piffy', the bell-playing young child ...

I'm sure I've mentioned this elsewhere here, but I was a huge DLB fan - I've still got both their tapes and their crappy G'N R inspired t-shirt somewhere. I even taped their recent 'reunion' special on RRR... which, to be honest, wasn't all that special Leapin' Larry is currently writing a fair bit...

Re: P***weak World is real

LOL. Who'd have thought people would pay to do this?

Re: Pot Luck Classics

Next week, (Sunday night I think) Channel 10 are showing 40th Anniversary special, hosted by Bert Newton and Rove McManus. I saw the promo this morning, and noticed a quick clip of Pot Luck contestant, Todd Rixon. If some Pot Luck clips are shown, then this will be worth watching, especially for us ...

Re: Getting to know you

Does anyone actually remember what Spohie Lee did in that band? I remember her Sex show. They showed "girls bits" close up, blew my 15 year old mind. I also remember people finding Agro funny. Weird that. My sister went to an adults only Agro show at Twin Towns. For the first five minutes he humped...
