Martin talks about his work as a co-director and co-writer on Upper Middle Bogan, Tony's attempt to make a TV film, 70s Aussie cinema, the saga of Boulevard Films, Tony's early career in NZ, meeting Steve Coogan, the latter career of Frank Sinatra and Charles Laughton directing The Night of the Hunter. And we get to hear a track from the soundtrack to the Guy Pearce classic film 'Heaven Tonight'. Bring on Video Rodney!

Thanks loop. Sweet.

Anyone know where we can get a copy of A Date with Destiny?! Sounds like a cracker. My work mate said his highlight of this broadcast was Tony described Calder Park as having posters of Bob Jane looking down on you like Trotsky.

I'm off to his Fringe show tonight, anyone else going?

Wonderful listen.

The 10BA film financing period in the 80s sounds so ridiculous that it couldn't possibly be true, but it was.
